Extra Details about Tribune Media’s Proposed DTLA Tower Parking lot across from the L.A. Times building could birth 30-story tower

Tribune Media Company is proceeding with plans to develop a mixed-use tower in the Civic Center, presenting the proposed development this week to the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council’s Planning and Land Use Committee.

The project, slated for a property at 232 W. 2nd Street, would sit directly above a new subway station being built as part of Metro’s Regional Connector transit project.  Plans filed last October with City of Los Angeles indicate that the proposed 30-story building would feature 107 condominiums and 534,000 square feet of offices above approximately 7,200 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
