First Look at the Arts District Center Development

A proposed mixed-use complex in Downtown Los Angeles’ evolving Arts District could result in a 12-story tower featuring multifamily residential units, retail space and a hotel.

Arts District Center, which has been nearly a decade in the making, would rise from an approximately one-acre property fronting 5th, Colyton and Seaton Streets, one block west of a new public park.  Arts District Development, LLC – the firm behind the project – is planning for 129 live-work condominiums, a 113-room boutique “art” hotel and 70,000 square feet of community-serving shops and restaurants within the building’s ground level.
