Mixed-Use Development to Rise at 7th & Lucas Subsidiary of Chinese motorcycle manufacter plans residential-retail complex

Rumors of another residential tower in the Westlake neighborhood have become reality.

Last year, an approximately one-acre site at 1247 W. 7th Street sold for $19 million to an American subsidiary of the Lifan Group, a major Chinese manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles.  Earlier today, the company filed plans to construct a mixed-use development on the property, consisting of 304 residential units above 5,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a parking garage.
