USC Village on Track for Fall Opening The $700-million expansion of the USC campus replaced an aging shopping center.

Nearly three years after demolition kicked off at the dilapidated University Village shopping mall, USC is nearing the finish line for its $700-million replacement.

The USC Village, which spans across 15 acres at Jefferson Boulevard and Hoover Street, creates new academic facilities, housing for 2,700 students and approximately 115,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.  The buildings are interspersed with wide public paseos, as well as new green space for students and passersby. continu reading
